Headway – The UK’s leading brain injury charity has been providing specific information and support for those affected by brain injury for the past 30 years. It gives support, services and information to brain injury survivors, their families and carers, as well as to professionals in the health and legal fields. It has more than 100 groups and branches throughout the UK. Our Director, Louise Sheffield, is a Trustee of the local Headway Group, Headway Preston and Chorley.
The Children’s Brain Injury Trust – Provide information, support and training to anyone affected by childhood brain injury. Active Case Management closely follows the work of the Criminal Justice and Acquired Brain Injury Interest Group which is hosted by the Child Brain Injury Trust.
